Warranty

Any warranties on new parts and/or accessories sold hereby are those made by the manufacturer. Most used parts are guaranteed to your satisfaction for 6 months, excluding special order parts which carry only the warranty offered by that vendor. Warranty applicable only to parts purchased and will not be honored if disassembled, tampered with or used in a manner other than the manufactures original application. Major component warranty, such as engine assemblies, excludes bolt on accessories.

No labor will be paid under any circumstances. The seller, Forest Auto Parts, hereby expressly disclaims all other warranties, new or used either expressed or implied, including all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for the particular purpose. Forest Auto Parts neither assumes, nor authorizes any other person to assume it, any liability in connection with the sale of the parts and/or accessories. Seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage, directly or indirectly, or for consequential damages arising from the use of such parts.

DAMAGE CAUSED BY IMPROPER INSTALLATION, LACK OF LUBRICATION, USE OF INCORRECT LUBRICANT, OR USE OF PART IN AN APPLICATION OTHER THAN THAT FOR WHICH THE PART WAS ORIGINALLY INTENDED BY THE MANUFACTURE WILL VOID WARRANTY.

PART WILL BE REPLACED, REPAIRED, OR REFUNDED AT THE DISCRETION OF FOREST AUTO PARTS WITHIN THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD, BEGINING WITH THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE.

ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE PRE-AUTHORIZED.

ENGINE INSTALLATION

REPLACE THERMOSTAT, TIMING BELT/CHAIN, GASKETS AND SEALS AS NEEDED. ELECTRICAL AND INDUCTION SYSTEMS MAY VARY. COMPARE AND SWITCH AS NECESSARY. EXTERNAL ACCESSORIES SUCH AS WATER PUMPS. DISTRIBUTORS,MANIFOLDS, INDUCTION, VACUUM, AND ELECTRICAL COMPONETS, ECT. ARE NOT GUARENTEED. MAKE SURE RADIATOR HAS ADEQUATE COOLING CAPACITY AND ELECTRIC FANS AND FAN CLUTCHES ARE WORKING PROPERLY.
WARRANTY IS VOID IF ENGINE IS OVERHEATED.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS

FIRMLY SEAT TORQUE CONVERTER INTO FRONT PUMP TO AVOID DAMAGE. REPLACE FILTER, PAN GASKET, AND SEALS. FLUSH TRANNY COOLER LINES OF ALL DEBRIS (KIT PROVIDED), AND REPLACE OIL COOLER IF NECESSARY. OVERDRIVE AND ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED UNITS MAY REQUIRE PRESSURE AND/OR COMPUTER ADJUSTMENTS. TRANSMISSION FAILURE MAY OCCUR IFTHIS IS NOT DONE. FILL WITH FACTORY RECOMMENDED FLUID AND TRANSMISSION CONDITIONER(PROVIDED). ADJUST LINKAGE, PRESSURE TEST FOR LEAKS, ROAD TEST AND RE-CHECK.

MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS

MAKE SURE THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS FILLED TO THE PROPER LEVEL WITH THE CORRECT FLUID. REPLACE PILOT BUSHING BEFORE INSTALLING. REPLACE AXLESEALS. COMPARE CLUTCH COMPONENTS, FLYWHEEL AND TIGHTNESS OF FLYWHEEL BOLTS. SWITCH AS NECESSARY.ADJUST LINKAGE AND CHECK SHIFT CABLES. ROAD TEST AND CHECK FOR LEAKS.

PLEASE DRAIN CORES BEFORE RETURNING !!!
